Clinical Specialist

Turku, Finland

We are looking for a Clinical Specialist to strengthen Bonalive’s clinical and scientific support capabilities in an international and growing medical device environment.

The role combines clinical affairs work, scientific support and clinical project coordination to support the safe and effective use of Bonalive products. The position works closely with QA/RA, Commercial, Medical Communication and Education, R&D, distributors, healthcare professionals and clinical partners globally.

The position is primarily based at Bonalive’s Turku headquarters.

During the onboarding phase, work is carried out on-site. After that, hybrid work is possible (up to 2 days per week).

Key responsibilities:

  • Support indication managers in validating clinical claims
  • Review clinical literature and support literature searches
  • Identify clinical evidence gaps together with internal stakeholders
  • Support evidence-based communication and scientific messaging
  • Compile and support clinical case reports and clinical documentation
  • Coordinate clinical projects and related follow-up activities
  • Organize and host clinical research meetings
  • Act as an operational point of contact for clinical research organizations together with indication managers
  • Support PMS, vigilance and complaint handling related activities
  • Participate in severity assessments and evaluation of incident reporting needs
  • Support Medical Information activities and healthcare professional inquiries
  • Coordinate Clinical Advisory Board (CAB) related activities
  • Support training content and scientific review activities with clinical expertise
  • Support cross-functional coordination between QA/RA, MC&E and Commercial
  • Attend and support surgeries where needed

Preferred background:

  • Healthcare, clinical sciences or medical device background
  • Clinical hands-on experience in healthcare environment
  • Experience in medtech, clinical affairs or scientific support roles is considered an advantage
  • Orthopedic or surgical understanding is beneficial

Skills & competencies:

  • Familiarity with MDR, PMS and vigilance environment
  • Strong scientific writing and documentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex clinical information clearly
  • Structured and detail-oriented working style
  • Strong collaboration and coordination capability
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English; Finnish is considered an advantage
  • Good Microsoft 365 skills
  • Experience in regulated medtech environment is considered an advantage
