As part of our continued growth, we are looking for two experienced Indication Managers to join our commercial organization:
Indication Manager, Spine
Indication Manager, Orthopedics
These are highly visible international roles with responsibility for developing and executing indication-specific strategy, clinical programs, expert networks, training activities, and commercial growth initiatives across selected markets.
Your mission
You will own and drive the development of your indication area, acting as the key link between surgeons, distributors, sales teams, marketing, clinical affairs, regulatory affairs, quality, and product development.
You will help shape how Bonalive’s bioactive glass technology is positioned, adopted, and expanded within your surgical specialty.
Key responsibilities
Indication strategy and market development
- Develop and execute the annual indication plan and contribute to long-term strategy
- Identify growth opportunities, target markets, and priority customer segments
- Develop indication-specific positioning and competitive strategies
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, reimbursement developments, and healthcare dynamics
- Support indication expansion opportunities within your surgical specialty
Clinical evidence and clinical programs
- Follow and evaluate the latest clinical evidence relevant to your indication
- Coordinate and drive indication-specific clinical programs
- Support and coordinate clinical studies and evidence generation activities
- Translate clinical evidence into meaningful customer value propositions and commercial messages
- Provide scientific input for marketing and educational materials
KOL and expert community development
- Build and maintain relationships with leading surgeons, key opinion leaders (KOLs), TOP customer reference centers and key clinical advocates.
- Develop and manage indication-specific ambassador networks
- Organize advisory board and expert meetings, and educational activities
- Develop and strengthen indication-specific clinical and professional communities
- Support development of Centers of Excellence and reference centers Commercial support and sales enablement
- Act as the indication expert for distributors and our internal commercial teams
- Develop and deliver distributor training programs
- Support the creation of indication-specific training materials and sales tools
- Evaluate and recommend indication-specific congresses, events, and educational activities
- Support customer meetings, congresses, workshops, and educational events
- Provide expertise in market access, purchasing processes, and reimbursement discussions
Product, innovation and quality support
- Provide indication-specific market, innovation, and product design input
- Support development of surgical techniques together with leading surgeons
- Identify unmet clinical needs and opportunities for indication expansion
- Support regulatory and quality activities with indication-specific expertise
- Ensure consistency and scientific accuracy of indication-specific communication
What we are looking for
We are looking for commercially driven medical device professionals who combine strong indication expertise with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive market adoption.
The ideal candidate enjoys spending time in the field with surgeons, distributors, and healthcare stakeholders, building expert networks and driving market development. They combine strong indication expertise with a practical understanding of how surgical technologies are adopted, purchased, reimbursed, and successfully commercialized in hospital environments.
Preferred background
- Significant experience (5 years minimum) in medical device sales, product management, indication management, business development, market development, or commercial leadership roles
- Strong expertise in either Orthopedics&Trauma or Spine
- Experience working with surgeons, hospitals, and healthcare professionals
- Experience from international and distributor-driven markets
- Understanding of operating room workflows, hospital purchasing processes, and reimbursement systems
- Experience developing KOL networks and supporting clinical adoption of medical technologies
- Experience working with biomaterials, bone graft substitutes, orthobiologics, implants, spine technologies, trauma products, or related surgical solutions is considered a strong advantage
