Bonalive putty MIS bone substitute applicator

Bonalive® putty MIS is a smart bone regeneration technology, providing stable positioning and controlled access in minimally invasive surgery.

The putty MIS offers healthcare professionals an easy and safe solution for filling the hardest-to-reach bone voids or gaps.

Delivered as a pre-filled cartridge, together with a dispenser delivery system, Bonalive® putty MIS is a sterile and ready-to-use paste. It requires no mixing, moistening or other preparation.

Easy to dispense and reaching a depth of up to 16 cm, the device provides controlled access, delivery and application for healthcare professionals. The exchangeable, pre-filled cartridges are only 8 mm thick in diameter and are used together with the dispenser. Each dispense releases 0.25 cc of putty.

Controlled access, delivery and user-friendly handling ensures the easy use of Bonalive® putty MIS in demanding trauma surgeries. Bonalive® putty MIS enables easy access to bone voids or gaps that are difficult to reach with conventional surgical devices.

By stimulating new bone formation through osteostimulation*, Bonalive® putty MIS produces a high but balanced local bone turnover. The clinical use of moldable Bonalive® putty MIS in trauma surgery is supported by several clinical trials that have been conducted with S53P4 bioactive glass.

Bonalive® putty is intended to be used for small and medium size bone defects. For use in larger defects we recommend Bonalive® granules.

Due to restrictions on the local harvesting of bone graft, minimal invasive surgical (MIS) spine fusion procedures limit the use of autograft. The MIS device enables easy access to bone voids or gaps that are difficult to reach with conventional surgical devices. User-friendly handling also ensures the safe and accurate delivery of the putty for demanding spine surgeries.

By stimulating new bone formation through osteostimulation*, Bonalive® putty MIS produces a high but balanced local bone turnover. The clinical use of Bonalive® putty MIS for spine surgery is supported by several clinical trials that have been conducted with S53P4 bioactive glass.

For the treatment of an infected spine we recommend Bonalive® granules and for an easy-to-use volume expander we suggest Bonalive® putty.
